The State Government of Osun Commission of Enquiry headed by Justice Manshood Adeigbe to investigate recent communal clash in Ile-Ife has commenced sitting and had so far received 104 memorandums from victims.
Bisi Babalola, Secretary of the commission said this on Wednesday while briefing journalists at Oba Okunade Sijuwade Memorial Hall, Enuwa, Ile-Ife.
According to him, the commission will be sitting on daily basis and expected to submit its report in the next four weeks in line with the mandate of the State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola
He however solicited for the support of the stakeholders especially the legal practitioners who would be involved in the proceedings.
The Chairman, Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Ife Branch, Barr Muritala Agboola, while speaking at the venue of commission sitting, commended Governor Aregbesola for setting up the commission.
Agboola said the commission so far has demonstrated commitment to get to the root of the crisis and ensure redress for the victims.

Other members of the commission are DCP Bose Dawodu (RTD); DCP Kwabe Koji; Mr Ikechukwu Maduagwuna, and Barr .Ismail Alidade.
