The Hilton Hotel, Ile – Ife, has begun the renovation and upgrading of major facilities that will upgrade to compete the current hospitality business in Ile- Ife.
The Acting Manager of the hotel, Mr Olagunju Femi in an exclusive interview with Ife- City New said the hotel is upgrading the Bar, Swimming Pool, Restaurant, Internet Facilities among others to make their local and international guests confortable.
He said the Chief Executive Officer of the Hotel Dr Ramon Adedoyin who is Maye Of Ile Ife, has made the hotel metamorphosed into an ideal place for guests, visitors and tourists.
According to him, the hotel has that the largest Event Hall in Ile- Ife and it offers both single and double deluxe suites which are generously spaced and tastefully decorated to provide a haven for relaxation.
He expressed further that the charges of the hotel are cheap and affordable for the rich and average people in the society.
Local food per plate according to Femi is N600, and Intercontinental dishes per plate is ranges from N1,200 to N1500 while Fresh Fish Pepper Soup Per plate is N1,000 .
He said despite the higher capacity of the events hall with full air conditioned it is not more than N300,000 and conference hall is not more than N100,00 while the rooms ranges from N25,000- N20,000.
He said the management of hotel is making the price affordable as part of its social responsibility to make hospitality affordable in promoting tourism development in Ile- Ife.
