Ife Students Mourn Late Senator Adeleke

The National Ife Descendants Students Association (NIDSA) on Tuesday mourned the death of the first Executive Governor in Osun,  Senator Isiaka Adeleke who died on Sunday.

In a press statement released by the President of the association, Mr Agbogunleri Oluwaseun  condoled with the family of the deceased, Ede Students, the indigenes of Ede land, State of Osun and Nigerians at large.

According to the statement, “His Excellency Late Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke who had in the past meritoriously​ served us as the 1st Executive Governor,  State of Osun, Serubawon remained an erudite scholar, an intellectual store house, political strategist, philanthropist and knowledge incarnate

“As the hour of death cannot be forecast, the demise  Senator Adeleke (CON) as declared yesterday to the public came as shock and heartbreak to not only the people of the State of Osun but also to the entire Nation”

“The God that gives also takes at wish.  We are confident that Senator Adeleke, has gone to meet his maker. His beautiful works and integrity will remain in our heart forever, even generations yet unborn would remember his legacy.”

He prayed that that Almighty God give his immediate family the fortitude to bear the loss.
