A 25 year old man, David Johnson was arraigned before an Osun State Magistrate Court II sitting in Ile ife for allegedly stealing Bajaj Motorcycle with Registration number SSU 637 QB valued at One Hundred and Twenty Thousand Naira ( N120,000).
Police Prosecutor, Sergeant Sunday Emmanuel told the court that the accused person stole the property of Mr Adeleke Samuel on January 13 ,2017 at about 6 pm in Moore Ile -Ife.
He stated further that the offence contrary to and punishable under section 390(9) and section 135 (2) of the criminal code cap 34 vol. 11 laws of osun state of Nigeria 2003
When the two count charges was read to the accused, he pleaded not guilty.
In his ruling, Magistrate Olamilekan Ijiyode granted the accused bail in the sun of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000) with two sureties which must be verified by the police.
He thereby adjourned the case to June 20, 2017 for mentioning.
