OAU Medical Students Inaugurates New Executives

The Ife University Medical Students’ Association, Obafemi Awolowo University branch (IFUMSA OAU) have sworn in the newly elected executives members.

IFUMSA inauguration ceremony has in attendance the Provost, College of Health Sciences, Professor Adesegun Fatusi, Dean of Clinical Sciences, Professor Adegbehingbe Olayinka and the Students’ Union President, Comrade Oyekan Ibukun among others.

College of health sciences Provost, Professor Fatusi enjoined the newly elected executives to carry out their duties with the fear of God and also emphasized the need to improve their knowledge on leadership, democracy and good governance to be committed and responsible to the needs of the association.

Immediate past President of the association,  Busayo Osineye further  encouraged the new executives to get ready for the task ahead and ensure that they leave a landmark that will further promote the association.

Kayode Matthew the new president in his speech demanded a world class library designed for medical students and the prioritisation of medical students’ welfare in OAU while pleading for the cooperation of the association members and the management of the university.
