An Osun State Magistrate court II sitting in Ile Ife on Wednesday remanded a 27- year-old man, Olajare Opeoluwa for damaging the shop of one Mr Akande Daniel and stole properties valued at N95,000.
The Police Prosecutor, Sergeant Sunday Osanyituyi told the court that the accused committed the offence on May 10 at Iremo road in Ile Ife.
He said that the accused committed an offence contrary to section 516, section 414 and section 383(1) and punishable under section 390(9) (10a) of the criminal code Cap 34 vol.11 Laws of Osun State.
The accused having no counsel representation, pleaded guilty to the three count leveled against him and appealed to court to mitigate his punishment.
In his ruling, Magistrate Ijiyode Olamilekan ordered the accused to be remanded in Ilesha without an option of fine.
Olamilekan however adjourned the case till June 23rd 2017 for further hearing.
