The Curator of National Museum Ile Ife, Mr Joseph Ogundele has said that more than 500 visitors and tourists do visit the museum weekly.
In an interview with Ife City News, the Senior Education Officer, Mr Awowoyin Rasheed who represented the curator disclosed that as at last week, most tourists came from Poland, Great Britain, USA, Italy, Germany, Israel, Spain, France , the Czech Republic, South Korea and many others country to see the culture heritage of Ile Ife.
He also disclosed that the museum does charges token of N100 per head which is always used to buy fuel for the power generator.
Rasheed who identified funding as one of the major challenges of the museum called on government, and philanthropists to support the museum financially.
