The entire family of Abewela Royal Compound in Ile Ife during the weekend celebrated the good life of late Prince Victor Adebayo Kayode who died at age 69years. The deceased died in his home town on June 22nd.
Thousands of Ile Ife Residents, politicians, monarchs stormed the burial ceremony of the deceased with the massive attendance of his Christianity wake keep held at Ondo Road in Ile Ife last Thursday and his burial on Friday at St Peter Anglican Church, Iremo, Ile Ife.
The residents of Ile Ife who witness the burial ceremony described the deceased as philanthropist who used his life time in helping the needy.
While profusely crying, a resident, Mrs Akani Yemisi revealed to Ife City News that the deceased had promised to give her money to treat her son who was at Seventh Days Hospital receiving treatment before death took him away.
She described the deceased as an humble and a philanthropist who always give charity to the needy.
In an interview with the Son of the deceased, Mr Adebayo Adesoji described the death of his father as unfortunate, saying that “Ile Ife has lost a legend”
