OAU: Moremi Hall Occupants Protest Poor Electricity Supply

The residents of Moremi Hostel, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife massively troop out today  to protest poor electricity supply. The occupants walked down to the portal and executives room of the hostel to expressed their displeasure.

Alice Foluwake, a student of department of English who lived in the hall told our reporter that the hall has been faced unprecedented poor electricity supply   for the past  7 days which has affected the living condition of students.

Another student who spoke under the condition of anonymity said “I wonder if we have a union, our welfare has not be attended to. They only fight for their interest at the level of the house and  student union”.

Meanwhile , the Public Relations Officer of union, Okediji Simon Zuma who joined the protesters in their hall said something shall be done tomorrow.
