The executives of Moremi Hall of residence, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife led by Olaopa Oluwatosin met with the Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Eyitope Ogunbodede over the welfare of students residing in the hall.
According to the executives of the hall, the vice chancellor at the meeting promised promised to procure new transformer for the hall in order to avoid epileptic power supply and also to install pumping machine in the hall well to serve as alternative source during scarcity of water on campus.
Issues discussed included the renovation of the hall which it was equally promised to commence soon.
The executives however saluted the residents of the hall for their cooperation and support towards improved standard of living.
It would be recalled that IFE CITY NEWS reported the agitation of the hall residents on blackout in their corridors, bathroom and toilets.
However, as at the time of compiling this report, electricity bulbs have been fixed to the rating of 80% of the corridors, toilets and bathrooms in the hall.
