NUESA OAU Renders Five Months Stewardship

The Nigerian Universities Education Students’ Association, NUESA, Obafemi Awolowo University chapter has given the account of stewardship for the past five months to students of the faculty.

President of the association, Fatoyinbo Gafar, in a statement made available  to IFE CITY NEWS said his administration will continue to stand by its electoral promises to run a transparent policies by adequately informing its  members about the activities of the association.

Gafar led administration which was inaugurated in April, 2017 said the achievements of the association so far includes renewal of the association registration, organising a memorable freshers’ week for the 2017/17 fresh students, academic tutorials, successful agitation for considerable  teaching practice for the students of the faculty whose programme clashed with the university resumption.

He added the association also provided souvenirs for NUESITES, first prize at Inter-varsity contest, provision of furniture for the faculty basement, consolidating  management efforts to install wireless internet facilities at the faculty.

Gafar explained that the association also supported the faculty in organizing an epoch making lecture that featured prominent Nigerians and first class traditional rulers and provided  desktop computer and  printer for the secretariat and new board for the faculty news outfit.

He appealed to students to be partners in progress by fulfilling their financial responsibility through the payment of the prescribed annual dues.
