A 39- year- old trader, Mrs Oshinaike Morenikeji has been arraigned before an Osun State Magistrate Court II sitting in Ile Ife for damaging the property of one Mrs Adeola Adefisoye valued at #5million.
The police prosecutor, Sergeant Sunday Osanyetuyi told the court that the accused person forcefully entered into the three shops of the complainant located at Moore and damaged her property.
He stated further that the accused person committed an offence contrary to section 410 and punishable under section 390(9) of the criminal code cap 34 vol. II laws of Osun State 2003.
When the five count charges were read to the accused person, she pleaded not guilty.
The counsel to the accused, Mr Ola Ibrahim applied for the bail and assured the court that he will always produce her in court as guardian.
In his ruling, Magistrate Olamilekan Ijiyode granted the accused bail of #500,000 with one surety within the jurisdiction with two passport photograph each from the accused and the surety.
He however adjourned the case to November 12, 2017 for mentioning
