The Liberation Chambers of the Faculty of Law, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife is set to host a legal summit to address salient issues around evolving trends in the legal profession, legal education and impact of lawyers in the society.
The two-day event will feature high impact speeches from a variety of speakers as well as panel and interactive sessions.
The legal marathon summit with the theme “Prospects for Nigerian Youths in the Legal, Political and Economic Sectors’ and is scheduled to hold between Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th November, 2017.
Speakers expected at the event include Mr George Etomi, Principal Partner at George Etomi and Partners, and Mr Ayodele Oni, a partner and chair of the Energy and Natural Resources Practice Group at Bloomfield Law Practice.
The Chairman of the occasion is Otunba Fatai Olajide Olukoga, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Social Development , Lagos State.
Other speakers expected at the lecture includes Daniel Dalyop, Senior Special Assistant to the Plateau State Governor on ICT; Bukola Adebayo, an award-Winning Journalist with the Punch Newspaper; Yimika Adesola, and Adedumade Onibokun, founder of LegalNaija.
Lawyard’s Tobi Adebowale will be participating in two panel sessions on technology, and globalisation of legal practice.
