The communities are; Iremo area, Ojoyin, Orita fogo, Ogbingbin and many others. It was gathered that since the raid, which followed complaints on criminals’ activities had dropped drastically.
Describing the police action as proactive, residents of the town confirmed that acts of criminality had reduced.
While calling on the police to sustain the tempo all over the town, one of the residents, Mr. Gbenga Oluwatayo, said: “We are happy at the Police’s visit, as it sent message of warning to all.
“But we are asking for more of such and we pray that Almighty God strengthens them to do more.”
Another resident, Madam Shukurah Abolore, urged the police not to relent in bringing sanity to the town and its environs, lamenting that the town had experienced weeks of criminal activities, but with the Police visit, the community will bounce back.
